The site sits in a PROCLAIMED MINE SUBSIDENCE DISTRICT, and neither the named parties nor the lodged documents show a geotechnical engineer: 108 applications we can share in full, right now. A further 16 are on land mapped for landslip, shown separately because we have read them and they are the weaker signal. Separately, 59 consents order geotechnical work outright, at a stage that is funded. Here is one of those.
This page said 1,226 and 114 until 1 September 2026, and the 1,226 was not a market. It counted any application whose documents mentioned slope or soil at all. Twelve were read by hand and three described a real ground risk; the rest were sentences like “average gradient of 8.9%” and “moderately undulating”. The count now requires a MAPPED designation, and the two tiers are shown apart because they were read apart. Every number here was re-measured on the day it changed, by running the query the feed itself runs.

5. Where pools are to be located on sloping land or on land considered by Council as geotechnically constrained, appropriate geotechnical investigations to be carried out by a suitably qualified engineer. Details to be submitted with the development application demonstrating that the site is suitable for the proposed pool.

What a row says, and what it does not
- The whole condition or the flagged hazard in the applicant’s own words, the application it sits on, and the firms already named.
- An unengaged site is a candidate, not a finding. It means we read the documents and found no geotechnical engineer in them, which is not the same as there being none. Records that fail our linkage and contradiction checks are excluded before anything is counted.
- Contacts are business points of contact of record from the application, never homeowner or occupier lists. Where the documents named nobody the row says none on file.
